Description
My name is Davide Pietromarchi, Im 24 and I live in Ladispoli, a seaside town in the province of Rome. When I write, I prefer to sign myself as XIII, a pseudonym born from a promise linked to writing to a person who is no longer there. I approach writing since I was a child writing short stories. As I grew older, these stories became a distorted projection of my thoughts. Instead, I approach poetry in high school. But I preferred them to burn my poems, it gave me a sense of peace when I did it, as if bad thoughts disappeared with the paper. I love music very much, in fact I play guitar and piano. Playing the latter I occasionally jotted down a draft of something.
