Mit der Unfallmelde-App der HUK24 (HUK24 UMD) haben Sie im Schadenfall einen wichtigen Begleiter für Notfälle an Bord. Die App ist übersichtlich aufgebaut und intuitiv bedienbar.Die Unfallmelde-App ist zusammen mit dem Unfallmeldestecker das Kernstück eines einfach nachrüstbaren Notrufsystems für Pkw, dem Unfallmeldedienst. Der Unfallmeldestecker wird über die 12V-Steckdose bzw. den Zigarettenanzünder Ihres Fahrzeugs mit Strom versorgt und ist per Bluetooth mit Ihrem Smartphone verbunden.  Automatischer UnfallalarmErkennt der Crashsensor des Unfallmeldesteckers, dass Ihr Pkw in einen Verkehrsunfall verwickelt ist, wird automatisch ein Unfallalarm über die Unfallmelde-App gesendet. Daraufhin wird eine Sprechverbindung über Ihr Smartphone mit unserem Schaden-Team hergestellt. Anschließend klären wir mit Ihnen vor Ort die weiteren Maßnahmen ab (z. B. Information der Rettungskräfte). Auch werden Informationen wie Standort und Unfallschwere automatisch übermittelt. So finden Rettungs- und Servicekräfte Sie schneller und sparen wertvolle Zeit. Denn: Schnelle Hilfe bei einem Verkehrsunfall kann Leben retten. Was wir machen, wenn wir Sie telefonisch nicht erreichen? Dann informieren wir die Rettungskräfte, wenn wir nach den Umständen von einem schweren Verkehrsunfall ausgehen müssen.Manueller UnfallalarmDen Unfallmeldedienst können Sie auch manuell über die App auslösen. Wählen Sie dann einfach zwischen „Rettung anfordern“ oder „Unfall/Panne melden“. In beiden Fällen werden Sie dann mit dem zuständigen Schaden-Team verbunden, das Ihnen weiterhilft. So schicken wir z. B. Rettungskräfte los oder organisieren einen Abschleppwagen.Damit der Unfallmeldedienst funktionstüchtig ist, müssen Sie mobile Daten, GPS und Bluetooth in Ihrem Smartphone aktiviert haben. Dies führt zu einem erhöhten Akkuverbrauch. This app has vastly improved since my last review. It now connects to the car every time and doesn't consume too much battery in the background (0,17% according to my phone). It was easy to set up. Once, I accidentally pressed the help request button. I cancelled the call but they called me back a few seconds later to make sure everything is okay. The system seems to work.
