All ecobank Apps and online banking platforms are useless. It chooses when some functionalities work and when they don't work. Bill pay for example will work sometimes when you are lucky.
To be honest this bank app is useless at the moment. Existing users cannot login due to "failure in sending OTP's". I made a complaint, even sent them an email. They replied with "the app is having issues with delivering OTP and it would be resolved soon". It's been more than one month now and nothing has been done. I still can't access my Ecobank Mobile App.
