Estimation application downloads and cost
An excellent application....information vital to the support of personnel and equipment during critical military operations. The most valuable part is the reference charts and the accessibility to the required information of the Heat Category. This eliminates the use of field equipment and provides information from anywhere in the field.
Great app. Gives a much better idea of heat stress and work or play times based on heat and humidity. Should be mandatory for any organized or sanctioned group activity.
June 13, 2014 So far not what it use to be, fails to update manually. Update June 14, 2014. It was the equipment. Checked with other phone galaxy s5 and sure enough it works.
GPS refuses to update on this app. I'm not in Northridge, I'm in the Middle East. If it worked, this would be an amazing app.
I have been looking for an app that gives WET BULB temperature based on your location. I use this for industrial cooling daily data. After scrolling through 200 apps, this is the only I found that used your GPS location rather than manual data, so I spent $1. Otherwise, the interface is a bit choppy and could use some work. I am surprised (with all the subpar HVAC apps out there) this is the ONLY app to have location-based wet bulb temp.
I would rather email for support than give a review but, "Settings" doesn't show me anything. "Update" does nothing, either. Great idea but, have I been scammed? I've come to expect this from free apps, not a paid one.
The ONLY thing this app has going for it is that is shows Wet Bulb Temperature for your location. And sadly, since I found no other apps that do that, this is enough to justify the purchase. Apart from that though, the app is comically badly designed and produced. As if it were a winner in a competition for the worst design and UX.
