Estimation application downloads and cost
UPDATE: AVM development has contacted me to try the latest version. That new version became available for me yesterday, and the VPN connection is back. All good. Thank you AVM! Old message No longer have VPN access to my home network. Supposingly it is still possible, but can't figure it out. Was so easy before. Very disappointed.

Evaluation of 1 star is for v2.16.1! Removing vpn functionality from inside the app and redirecting to browser for router management was a disaster!!! Had to roll back to v2.15.2 and then self sign it to stop auto update from play store! I really hope you will restore this app to its previous glory in future updates.. UPDATE (11/08/2021) - v2.17.0 VPN functionality re-integrated in v2.17.0 and works well, that's true. BUT you didn't restore the redirection from inside the app to android browser issue, when accessing fritzbox router management page (i believe others also complained about this). This causes the app (v2.17.0), when in vpn mode and click to access my home fritzbox, to either crash or take way too long to open the router's page to a browser outside the app.. So, i recommend the re-integration of this functionality as well, inside the app, just like it was in v2.15.2 (i.e. when clicking fritzbox button, router management page should open inside the app and not trying to open android browser, causing the app to crash or hang). I would like to note that v2.15.2, which had this functionality integrated as well, never crashed or hanged. So, if you fix this second issue as well (by re-integrating it in the app), i will change my review to a 5-star review.
At the time, this app seems to be almost the only way to establish a VPN connection between an Android 11 phone and the FritzBox. This is cool, but I miss an option to route the whole traffic, and not only the traffic to my intranet, through the FritzBox. Any thoughts to implement this option?
I still don't see the VPN feature where you swipe the icons together to make the VPN? ?
EDIT - The developers listened and have re-activated the missed functionality. All good now. ORIGINAL REVIEW Uninstalled the newest downgrade and reinstalled an older version in which external access is still good. Honestly do not know what the developers are thinking of
Update - vpn facility reintegrated & fingerprint login introduced, so now 5 stars. Ditto to others - used vpn daily - have re-installed older version of app.
