I use have a TI Nspire CX CAS, a TI 89 Platinum and a handful of high-end Android calculators. But when it comes to linear algebra (only), you can't beat this little app. It pretty much does everything you need to do. What I like most about the app is that with one key you can get a whole lot of information about a matrix in one place, and it even shows you the step-by-step operations for some of the routines. The only thing missions is the matrix template style interface for entering numbers.

Want to do simple matrix arithmetic on tablet. Wolfram's app almost useless. Must be online and doesn't seem to handle even simple sequences of operations. Only one at a time.

EDIT: Changing my rating from 4 to 3... It proved to be really useless since the day I bought it. I always find myself using the Wolfram Alpha desktop website instead of mobile apps, simply because it's way faster to operate. This app lacks significant features.

It delivers, but what you see is what you get! The options you see on the screenshots are it, nothing more. It doesn't deliver explanation or anything, just solves it for you using WolframAlpha.
