This library can decode various image formats used in electronic machine readable travel documents (eMRTD) / electronic passports (ePassport).This library is used by NFC TagInfo (only available to devices that support Near Field Communication) to decode images from ePassports.Get NFC TagInfo: http://bit.ly/GEgabZWhile we test our app prior to releases, there might still be some errors that cause unexpected behavior and functional interruptions. If you happen to find such misbehavior please help us by providing a so-called "crash report".

Have not tried with other passports, friends are reluctant to let me test on their passports after a successful demonstration. 1. Install NFC TagInfo by NFC Research Lab 2. Install PassportImageDecoder 3. Launch NFC TagInfo 4. Enter : Passport Number, Date of Birth, Date of Passport Expiration 5. Scan passport - takes a few seconds. Hold still.
