great app for following thunder storm I love it
Reasonable but high power drain. I've been checking what app consumes my battery power and this app regularly accounts for around 20%. I've tried to adjust settings but it changes nothing. Shame, I've had to uninstall. *Completed a reinstall as advised but very little change. 13% used by midday.
This app used to be great. It showed strikes by my house that I could see and hear. For some reason, it just doesn't report strikes near me anymore. We had a very active storm roll over our house yesterday in Evergreen Colorado...5 or 6 strikes per minute for 30 minutes, but no strikes were reported. I have tried various strike count thresholds and have no erroneous text. It shows strikes in neighboring areas like Boulder CO, but I have not seen strikes near Evergreen all summer.
Edited my review and stars. Loved this app, had it since 2014 no problem. But recently it doesn't seem to work. I sat in a storm (Northamptonshire 11pm) watching the lightning and yet not one notification or lightning hit on the map showed up in my area. Really disappointed as it was a brilliant app.
Good but I want it to show the live strikes like the website does and not just big blocks that show strike count for each block.
Not accurate had some lightening in norfolk and the app hasnt detected it?
