App would no longer connect despite working wifi connection. Uninstalled latest version of app, went to power2max website support/support article/troubleshooting/"I can't update my powermeter" and downloaded old version of app (version 18/489) through link in article under Android section. Installed old app, turned off auto app update, and presto the app works again. Just don't update the app to the latest version. Power2Max needs to fix the new version for Android!

Does not work on newer phones. I have a Samsung Flip 4 and the app says I have no Wi-Fi. I was forced to side load the old version from their web site, but I have to keep reinstalling because the app store updates it to the broken version and there is no way to prevent that without turning off app updates globally.

I was able to connect and update firmware so that's fine. However, devs need to update their permissions or better communicate what they are for. Access location all the time, why? Access to my stored media, what in the world for? The permission grab made me nervous enough to uninstall as soon as I got the firmware updated.
