MyTerminal, The Port Authority of NY & NJ’s official bus terminal app, provides you with information about bus departures and terminal services at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

With the MyTerminal app, users will be able to:
• Get scheduled departure time and gate location for all buses departing from the terminal. • Users can search for departures by destination city.
• View directories showing the location of services available at the terminal, including ticketing, shops and restaurants, restrooms, ATMs, charging stations and more.
• Check real-time alerts about incidents impacting bus service at the terminal.

It's embarrassing how horrible this app is. Biggest city in the world, with some of the worst public transport. Literally, a WEBCAM viewing one of the scrolling tv screens in PABT that show the bus times would work better than this app. It just dosent work when it dosent want to. Not to mention, it is the most unintuitive thing I have ever seen. I'm very tech savvy and I have a bit if trouble Now, the most recent update has made it so that not a single bus shows up at all. Uninstalling

So glad an app exists to tell me to go to the wrong gate for my bus. All 156 and 159 bus lines are displayed as R routes which is a specific different route. Gate information consistent conflicts with paper handmade signs in Port Authority. Buses also consistently will pull into the wrong gate so you have to be a very experienced traveler to get to where you need to go. Not sure why they have determined that making commuting to and from NJ deserves to be a Dark Souls like experience

I'm a driver with Coach USA Shortline and find myself answering passengers questions frequently. I used to be able to use the app to find the right time and gate of departure but this new version doesnt work apparently. The app isn't always accurate to begin with so you're better off asking a driver 😉
