Field Mate's accurate GPS area measurement makes it practical and easy to measure outdoor areas.

The GPS area measurement is quick to start with just one tap on the screen. The measured area is shown in real time as you are walking or driving around the area.

You can also make GPS distance measurements – just travel any path you want and get the distance.

Field Mate makes it very easy to make area and distance measurements anywhere on the map.

You can measure any area or distance by drawing or adding points on the screen. The app shows the measured area or distance in real time as you slide your finger on the screen or add points with precision.

With layout creation feature you can attach, for example, an image of a floor plan directly to the map, and that way also measure and mark indoor areas.

All measurement units are customizable for your region. You can choose to see either metric or imperial units.

Field Mate is especially good for field area measurement. It contains some additional and useful features, such as a seed count estimator.

The map marker feature allows you to add useful marker signs to the map. With this feature, you can mark points of interest or add warnings or other signs.

Field Mate saves all your measurements and markings automatically to the selected map file in the Saved Maps section. Just create a map file and start measuring and marking. You can always modify the map later.

When saving a measurement or marker you can add some additional details, such as name, description, voice record or image.

Field Mate lets you locate places easily on the map. Search the location for example by city name, street address, or directly give coordinates to find a specific location.

You can also set a destination marker anywhere on the map with direction arrow pointing to it.
