SOA Learning Companion

The SOA Learning Companion is a free mobile app available to candidates registered for an SOA exam, e-Learning Associateship, or Fellowship module. The Learning Companion is a collaborative platform for candidates who can improve their learning outcomes by joining a small learning group and participating in group discussions, seeking clarification on content, and coordinating assessment sittings.

In select modules, the Learning Companion chatbot, Ari, supplements a candidate’s learning experience by delivering additional learning materials such as course-specific articles, direct messages, group quizzes, and reminders to review important actuarial concepts, creating a personalized learning experience and leading to greater candidate success. These features are currently available in the PAF, ASF and DMAC modules.
