About this app

This app is 100% free of charge and contains NO ADS! :)

ℹ️ This app is NOT an alarm app! ℹ️
(Have a look at my "Radio Alarm Clock" app if you are looking for an alarm. Together with this Night Clock it can be a nice Alarm/Clock combination).

This clock app can be used as a digital bedside clock / night clock and it also offers a flashlight 🔦 for your convenience when leaving your bed at night.

This app can also be utilized to keep using an older / unused device as a nice digital clock somewhere in your home all day.

This is the FREE version of the app.
It offers basic settings and functionality plus some extras, but it has also some limitations in the choice of settings.

I've been using the free version for as long as I've had my Pixel 8 (over a year), and the free version does everything I want. I use this every night at home and on the road, converting my phone into a clock adjusted just the way I prefer. I realized how much I depend on this app, so I upgraded to the plus version to support the developer. For a mere one-time $2.99 you should do the right thing, too! Great app … thanks Benjamin!

Works PERFECT for me! Converts my old Galaxy S4 into an attractive digital clock, and I can run my Motion Security Camera at the same time. Makes my old do-nothing phone a powerful tool. After one more power outage and blinking clock/radio, I said "that's it" I need to modernize and do something smarter. The old clock got tossed. Now I have this clock with an even bigger readout. No ads. It runs 24/7 with my phone in stand and standard charger plugged in. I noticed that my fast charger wouldn't work with this going, tho this isn't actually a fast charging phone, so I switched to a standard charger. I noticed the phone was draining faster than charging, so I shut off some programs.. all good again. Note that this is an older phone, and I don't worry about "burn in" with this type of screen. I don't notice a sort of "bounce around" clock screensaver setting, but I know that some other clock apps have them. Seems to play nice w/my Motion Detect Camera app going. With the clock, scanner radio, motion camera, Noah weather alert system on this phone, it is truly a wonder tool just to keep around as a secondary phone.

Hey, thanks a lot for the very detailed review and the time you took writing it! The Night Clock app does automatically "bounce" from left to right in landscape or up/down in portrait mode. Just make sure it has a little space in those directions to allow movement (adjust the size if needed). Movement occurs every 5 minutes. Regards, Ben

I have been using this great app for more than a year. I activate it just before going to bed and put it on my wireless charger which holds it at a perfect angle. My only minor gripe is regarding calibrating. . . I run it a maximum size. Some nights it starts maximized as desired. Other nights (seeming at random) it goes through the calibration stopping at the mid setting necessitating me activating the settings and sliding it back to maximum. Is there a way to force it to remember and keep the previous settings? It always remembers that I have it set at 1% brightness. Thanks for a great app!!

Hello, it is recalibrating although you're not changing any settings? The app should remember the saved setting and apply it instantly on app start without calibrating at all. Calibration is only needed after certain settings were changed and it has to be completed for each orientation once. After that it should not be doing it without reason. Ben
