Color Gear is a useful color tool that helps to create harmonious color palettes. To find the right color palette, designers and artists use color theory and the basis of it: color wheel and harmony. Color Gear is great for understanding color theory and daily creating palettes. Create harmonious palettes based on color theory with our color palette app!
📌 USE COLOR WHEEL THAT SUITS YOUR NEEDS
Our app supports two color models — RGB Color Wheel and Itten Color Wheel. RGB (Red, Green, Blue) is used to create colors in digital media. RYB color circle (Red, Yellow, Blue) relates specifically to color in the form of paint and pigment in art and design. For both RGB and RYB (Itten circle) Color wheel you can apply one of the 10 plus color schemes.
📌 BUILD COLOR PALETTE BASED ON THE ADDED HEX COLOR CODE
Just type in the color name (HEX or RGB color code) and discover different color harmonies matching this particular colour.
📌 EXTRACT PALETTE FROM IMAGES WITH COLOR PICKER
This feature will turn your photos into palettes! Find what colors are inside photos. Select the desired picture from your gallery and the application's algorithms will automatically obtain colors from the image. Also you can manually pick colors from the photo with the Hex Color Picker (eyedropper). Copy a particular HEX color code under color swatch to the clipboard and Paste it in the first Tab – in this case you will discover different color harmonies matching your particular color from the image.
📌 SAVE THE PALETTE ALONG WITH THE IMAGE
Create a Collage with saved palette. Choose a layout, place the palette on the image and Share it with ease.
📌 ADVANCED COLOR EDITING
Edit color values (Hue, Saturation, Lightness) of palette or one of the color swatches of it with precision.
📌 EASILY MANAGE & SHARE COLOR PALETTES
You can always copy a HEX color code under color swatches to the clipboard. Six color formats available to share in palette info (RGB, HEX, LAB, HSV, HSL, CMYK).

Uninstalled immediately after being directed to pay or allow intrusive cookies. No option to test before paying. Edit: In reply to the developers: yes, cookies can be toggled off, then the app can not be used without paying. I'm not paying for something I haven't tested. Ads only show occasionally but data is collected constantly. It's not about inconvenience, it's about not giving a random company access to collect my data.

I will try to explain. It’s how Google’s Admob works. Cookies Admob collect only influence the type of Ads you’ll see. If you turned off all cookies, then you will NOT see personalized Ads. Hence Google sometimes cannot show any Ad 🤷 to the user (you) and as a result a feature cannot be opened😭. It’s Google’s rules we abide by (!). 😞

Great app! I immediately upgraded to Pro but it's still called Color Gear lite and starts in the Ad Supported mode. I have to click Go Pro and hit Restore every single time I reopen the app (only if I truly close it, not multitasking thank God). I've NEVER had to do this with any other app I've used. I noticed there is also a $2.99 version that can be purchased separately from upgrading the Lite version. Does that start in Pro mode upon opening or do you have to tap a button to enable it?

Sorry it took us so long to respond:( We're in Ukraine...Do yo still have such a problem? We will take a look! Because I am using Samsung Galaxy S10 plus and the app works correctly and if you don't mind – write us via email to communicate faster🙏... The app (dark icon) – separate app and already Pro...we can refound money to you for Lite version!

This is almost a really cool tool, but right now is kind of unusable. If you could pull a color from an image, and use it to generate color palletes with the tools that are in the app now, that would be rad! I paid for pro because I thought it would let me do that, but instead it's too frustrating to use.

Hi. But you already can copy color code that you picked from photo and copy paste it to Magic palette generator and generate many different pallets locking that particular color... Take a look into a visual Guide in the app's menu or write to us via email and we will explain with screenshots
