The initial idea of ​​this application is to offer a guide in which you can find (through geolocation on a map) the maximum information about Cala from a general, as well as detailed, view, which will serve everyone in daily life ( tourist or visitor) who comes to this beautiful city.

Cala is a town located in the northeast of the province of Huelva, on the border with Badajoz, within the Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park, one of the most important protected spaces in the community and which occupies the entire north of the province with its pastures and small elevations predominantly covered with forests of holm oaks, cork oaks, chestnut trees and scrubland, through which numerous streams flow, forming a landscape of extraordinary beauty and attractiveness. At the same time, it is immersed in the western part of Sierra Morena.

Cala has the Starlite Certification, being included in the Starlite Reserve and Tourist Destination of Sierra Morena. The Starlight Initiative tries to first certify and subsequently conserve those places whose night sky has exceptional darkness values, allowing its enhancement from the point of view of conservation and tourism. A Starlight Reserve is an international certification that is granted only to those places whose night sky is currently maintained in impeccable conservation conditions. A Starlight Tourist Destination is another certification that certifies that a certain place has quality tourist infrastructure to accommodate those people who come to enjoy astronomy.
