Try it out: Download a free coloring picture to print out. Paint it however you like. With the Mitmalfilm app you can then turn it into a film.

We all know coloring books. When you paint along, entire films are colored in. Using real pens on real paper, you create entire fantasy worlds in which artistically gifted animals then experience exciting adventures. This opens up the fascination of professional cartoons to users and gives them the opportunity to become part of a real film team.
“Mitmalfilm” relies on the sensible use of media: painting is done analogously on real paper, the cell phone/tablet is only used to create and view the film.

Requirements:
- This app only works together with the coloring pictures that are painted on paper with real colored pencils. A free coloring picture to try out can be found in the app under "What is a coloring film?" be downloaded. Further coloring pictures are available in the form of coloring books in bookstores or in our webshop and also as downloadable pictures that you can print out yourself.
- The app requires a permanent internet connection.
- The app needs access to the camera to take photos of your coloring pictures.
- The app needs access to your device's memory to save your pictures and coloring films.


Tips for trouble-free film creation:
- When taking photos, make sure that the entire sheet, including the frame and QR code, is in the picture. This is important for automatic image recognition.
- Please avoid strong shadows on the image.
- If you paint too much over the edge, image recognition may be affected. Then it helps: Erase the edge cleanly or trace it with a black felt-tip pen.
