About this app

Many GIS applications use the 7 parameter transformation to convert the latitude and longitude to an X and Y coordinate in the kingdom triangle.

This method approximates the exact coordinates but does not exactly conform to the calculation method of the Land Registry.

The biggest flaw, however, is in the NAP height. With the 7 parameter transformation, the calculation from latitude, longitude and altitude to a NAP altitude is error.

By using this app you will get the exact X and Y coordinates in accordance with RDNAPTRANS2018 of the Land Registry. In addition, you also get an exact and correct NAP height.

This applies to all apps that use the tablet position and work with the 7 parameter transformation, such as ArcGIS and Infrakit.

RD+NAP 4 GIS connects to an external GNSS receiver and ensures that you use the correct position in all your GIS programs
