Calendar date can be wrong from previous searching. You need to manually reselect calendar icon to refresh to correct date when sliding down tray bar. Hence, you see wrong date on next viewing. Would be nice if it had link to open other calendars as it only opens native android calendar. Other than that, handy quick access to view calendar especially on phone calls. Very awesome app!

*UPDATE* you can't even add one account in the app to see if it would be useful. It's behind a pay wall. You can get the calendar in notification area but that's it. You can't even see if you have something for that day. How is that inaccurate? *Original* everything is behind a pay wall. i would love to try this out and see if it is useful to me but you cant do anything unless you upgrade for $4.99. at least give the option for a week or 2 trial.

Thanks for the feedback. However, the statement in the review is inaccurate. Some features do require an in app purchase. Calendar Notification does allow you to enjoy the month calendar and many options for customization for free.

After just 15 minutes of use, I think this app is a great idea and well implemented. Basically, the free version offers fast, novel access to a plain "month-to-view" calendar, via the notification panel. Clicking on any date will open your preferred calendar app for details of that day's events. Sadly, I can't even test the best features (eg linking to my Google calendars so that my events can be displayed as an agenda within the app) unless I buy..... without knowing the price! Why??

Hi Jan, clicking the purchase button in the app will direct you to the Google Play store where you can see the price for your location and currency. Also you can purchase and request a refund in the Play store within 15 minutes of the purchase if you choose. Appreciate the feedback!
