There used to be an app called the same name. It was brilliant, this one not so much. Extremely limited in search options and it looks like in needs to be connected to the internet. The other one needed to download the images and songs to the phone, only needed to update the database occasionally. You could have favourites, it was really good to use. This one is simple, but if it is the same app then it has been ruined, if it isn't then it needs to have a lot done to it.

Easy to use App to understand the typical range of birds found in Britain. I tend to use this to identify birds in and around the garden. Browsing the birds is easiest for me, trying to find the bird I have seen in the library. One image of each bird is a bit limiting, female of the species is also included if they are significantly different to the male. Learning a bit more about birds through this app, thank you

This was cheap to buy, but it's difficult to use. There's no menu or help and it appears to be little more than a hastily cobbled together list of British birds with very little information, one stock picture or photo, perhaps a barely audible song clip, but otherwise everything points to Wikipedia. For anyone wanting to identify a bird this app is all but useless, really embarrassingly bad
