A highly inconsistent experience. The cloud service frequently goes down and the app is useless without it. The schedules rarely work. The app hasn't been updated in nearly a year, so none of these issues are being addressed. The app is made by a 3rd party partner. Daikin should drop them and offer replacement hardware (it's quite inexpensive) to all affected owners.

I set a temperature in the app and it randomly changes the setting to something else. When things are working well, this happens twice a week. But sometimes it happens hourly. There is virtually no customer support system for homeowners - there is no phone # to call, no online chat available, and it's very difficult to find the support email address. Quite simply, the app fundamentally fails to achieve the most basic tasks it's designed for. Update: a year later, it's still horrible.

I've had TERRIBLE experience with wifi adapters, I've tried to install at 1 site on 11 differant wallmount units. On 6 units it took dozen of retries till the wifi connected to adapters, on 3 of the units on the app it says that it's connected but the tempature does not come up on app and unit does not respond to any commands from app. On 2 units no matter how many retries wifi does not connect. #2 schedule does not always kick in, and if it does it gets the temp setpoint wrong
