The CIODAY is the main annual network event hosted by ICT Media for those at the very top of the demand side of the multi billion IT market. This two day event is the annual meeting for more than 650 CIOs, IT VPs and/or IT directors. Numerous sessions are being held, such as exclusive master classes with top speakers like Neil Harbission, Dale Kutnick, Martin Reeves, William Binney, and many others. The plenary sessions also feature world class speakers. Furthermore the days are characterized by inspiring peer sessions, interactive round table sessions, in depth expert sessions and the annual announcement of the CIO of the Year.

New business models, cutting-edge technologies, a volatile world economy, and bottom-up driven social developments and needs are among the challenges present-day organisations have to cope with to remain relevant. This requires total transformation and breaking through the traditional frameworks. This transformation yields numerous opportunities for the company, due to the vast array of digital possibilities, as well as for the CIO, who owes it to the omnipresence of technology that he or she is in the centre of developments. A new form of governance dynamics is gradually emerging, in which the CIO is gaining importance while plotting the course in collaboration with his fellow managers more than ever before.
